Let's chat quickly about how to best care for your cashmere. I've had this conversation with clients lately, probably because it's sweater weather, right? So everyone's thinking about their sweaters. So there's a few things I like to do. First of all, do not wash your sweater every time you wear it. It's going to break down all the fibers. If you can wear a shirt or a base layer underneath it, that will make it not like stinky in the pits. And then you don't have to wash it every single time. That's or dry clean it every single time. Secondly, if you are going to dry clean it, I prefer going to like a smaller mom and pop dry cleaner because they often take better care. The one I like in Cleveland is Hillcrest Cleaners and they do two things. They care for it, but they also shave off any of those little pills as part of the service when they clean it. So they're keeping it fresh. Now you don't have to dry clean your cashmere. That is not a truth.
