A short YouTube monologue recommending linen as the must-have fabric for summer 2025. The speaker argues linen is synonymous with summer because it’s breathable, versatile across styles and colors, and imparts a modern, effortless look; natural wrinkles are framed as a mark of authenticity. The speaker also suggests linen blends (roughly 50% linen with rayon/poly) and machine-washable options for reduced wrinkling, and closes by prompting viewers about their linen shopping plans.

If there was one thing I would recommend getting for this summer of 2025, it would be this thing. And the reason I'm saying thing in quotations is not to be annoying, I promise. Even though it might be annoying, it is because it's not necessarily a piece of clothing or a shoe or something like that. It's actually a fabric. But it is synonymous with summer. And it is hot, hot, hot, and perfect for the hot, hot, hot weather. What is it? It's linen. Okay, this is linen. What I'm wearing is linen. This is linen, this is linen, and these are linen. And adding something or multiple things that are linen to your wardrobe this summer will make it feel very on point, very current. Not trendy, but current. Because you can get it in whatever shape, whatever style, whatever color works for you and your style archetype and fashion sense. But it feels modern and current. It gives that sense of, like, je ne sais quoi. It's just easy. It's supposed to look a little lived in. Also, I know some people are like, oh, my gosh, no way. Linen, it's wrinkly. It gives me, like, Ajita. It's supposed to look that way. If that's something that really, like, gets your guts. What I would recommend is looking for a linen blend. So, like this. It's a linen blend. It's 50ish percent linen. 50ish percent. Some kind of rayon, poly, something. But it makes it. Oh, and this one's machine washable, by the way, but it makes it not quite as wrinkly. Now, again, that depends. There is something about having those wrinkles. It's if you had like, a chimney or one of those, like, roosters on your roof, that's copper. You don't necessarily want it to stay like shiny copper all the time. That. The patina that happens with it, if you know, you know, then it's authentic and it's real copper. And that's what's good about it. So too, with linen, I don't mean that you need to walk out of the house like you rolled out of bed. That's not what I'm saying. But the wrinkles that naturally happen, like at your knees or where you're sitting or whatever, that's the sign of authenticity with linen. So again, there's options if you don't like the wrinkles, there's options if you do like the wrinkles. But regardless, linen is the thing to get right now. What do you have on your shopping list that's linen?
