YouTube video (by user kind-iguana) in which the speaker endorses longer denim shorts as a current trend and demonstrates two ways to wear them by literally wearing two different shoes. The speaker explains personal reasons for liking longer shorts, gives practical styling tips (use nude shoes to create a longer leg line; Birkenstocks for casual looks; swap to a dressier shoe to elevate the outfit), and suggests occasions (summer nights, art fairs, concerts) where the look fits. The tone is informal and upbeat.

Yes, I know I'm wearing two different shoes. I do. I know that. And I'm doing it for a reason. I'm doing it to sort of show you two ways you can wear a denim short. I'm really liking a longer denim short this season, partly because it's trending and partly because I like longer shorts. But for a while, I used to feel like I was my grandmother golfing when I wore long shorts, and I didn't like that. But now I'm totally, like, grooving with them. Typically, when you're wearing a longer short, it's nice. Nice to have something that either elevates you, like, this does or is nude and creates a longer line on the bottom of your leg. So, again, this is how I think most people think to wear, like, oh, I'm gonna wear jean shorts and a shirt. I'm gonna throw on my Birkenstocks. And it's easy. But the fun part is that you can kind of dress it up, and I can't stand on my leg any longer on one leg. So I'm going to show you how to take the same base. And, like, that's great for a summer night walking around if you're going to, like, an art fair or if you're going to a concert or something like that. Like, you're not too dr, but you're also not too dressed down. Hope that helps. And have an amazeballs day.
