A short first-person YouTube monologue in which the speaker critiques a retail top-and-skirt outfit: both pieces are attractive individually but the pairing fails on real bodies. The speaker explains specific fit issues (length, peplum back hiding the skirt’s detail), suggests a shorter top or an alternate version, and emphasizes liking each piece separately.

This is like my toxic trait and it has been for years. I see things in store, I like things. I see how they design them on the website and or how they show them in their materials and I'm like, oh, okay, that, like, I'll try it, but it doesn't work. And it does. If it doesn't work on like a six foot model, it's certainly not working on us real people. Okay, so this top they show and I asked at the store, do the top and bottom, do they go together? And they're like, yes, that's how sold is. The top is cute, the skirt is cute. They are both cute and separately, wait till you see the skirt, how cute the like top of the skirt is, right? It's awesome. It has pockets like, oh, hello belly. But together they're like not work. And the top is super cute, but together they're not. If I was going to make this top to work with these, this skirt, I would have it right here, right? So that you can see the cute part of the skirt. But then even if you tuck it under, like it has this like peplum back here. So that doesn't work. Okay, so if you're looking for my input brand, I would make this shorter or give a version that's shorter. But I do like them both separately. I just don't like them together. There my TED talks over. Bye.
