The table rolled in and went, mm, mm. Yes, I'll take it. I like that. And the countdown is on. We are less than a week away from Mother's Day now. And if you still need to find a special gift for your mama, don't worry, we have you covered.
Yeah. Before this segment started, I didn't know what I was gonna get mom, but I'm all done now.
That's a good choice.
She would love me so much. Really good one. Our three New Style contributor, Hallie Abrams, the wardrobe consultant, is here with us. And first of all, we're so happy to have you back in studio.
Thank you.
I'm happy to be here.
Even though you've been with us through the pandemic, it's been via zoom and energy in the studio. Really, it's a good thing. So all of these gifts, locally sourced and all great ideas for mom.
Yes. Right. So if you are a last minute Charlie, you can go and shop for these locally and support local.
Most people are so local. Local, local. All right, well, you brought us a whole bunch of different things to talk about. We're going to start over there with the jacket, that really cool outfit that you've put together. Tell us a little bit about that.
So actually that I didn't even put it together. That's from Eleanor and Hobbs, which is a new to Cleveland boutique. They Rocky River. They've been in Colorado for about 10 years and they just opened their doors here. It's great contemporary women's fashion. You could get mom just the necklace or just the purse or you could do the entire head to toe outfit. So it is a great place to shop and moms also to shop for themselves. And yes, I believe in that.
Those are ripped jeans.
They are ripped jeans.
Yeah.
I was talking to Halle in the break like, so what's the cutoff for ripped jeans? In my mind, it's 65. My mother, bless her soul, is 82. She feels like she's 16, but I can't see her in ripped jeans. So the arbitrary number I gave was about 65.
I think that's a safe number. But really it's whatever someone wants to wear.
That's true.
If you feel comfortable in it. If you feel it, you should wear it.
Accessories, bags, take us through some of these items.
Got it. So the jewelry over here is from the Siskis, also local women owned. They are in Westlake. They do have a brick and mortar store at this point. Most of their things are customized. That's sort of what they're known to but they're four to six weeks lead time on that.
That's not fun for Mother's Day. Picture of what I'm getting you.
Beaded mama necklace. And that beaded mama necklace is great. They launched it for Mother's Day. It's $34. So it's great. And it's super fun for summer, especially layered.
All right, Bags, bags.
Claire, Richie and other boss. Boss. Babe. You know, she's local. The wallets up front are colored. I think they're in the $112 range. But what she's really known for are these 10 carryalls.
Ooh.
I don't want to break anything. But they have the green interior.
Yes.
So they're sort of like the cool mom bag that you can wear to work. You can wear it on the weekends. And it does leather everything. The leather's beautiful.
And it also blue zipper's cool too.
And it also turns into like a backpack.
What is that gonna set me back?
You're gonna stump me on this one. I wanna say a couple hundred, but I don't. It's gonna be on the website. Let's put that.
Now, These flowers are cute. So remember back to the Olympics, they gave all the athletes the crocheted flowers, which was so cute. Or knit. I'm sorry, Crocheting. Knitted people. Please don't bo that. But these are glass. I know that. These are gorgeous.
Yeah, they're beautiful. They're from the Glass Asylum, which is in the beautiful village of Chagrin Falls. And so you can either purchase the bud vases or the flowers or these are champagne flutes.
They last forever.
They last forever. The other cool thing is. So it's a glass blowing studio. You can do lessons. So if you want to give an experience.
Highly recommended.
You always blow hot air, though. That would be a very interesting.
You're a natural at this glass blowing kid.
He just heat it up.
Okay, tell us about flowers.
Cool. Flowers are from urban orchid. So again, in Little Italy.
Local.
They also try to source and use as many local vendors as they can. And can I just squeeze in main chic, which is at home beauty. So it's like glam squad. They come to your house, manicures, pedicures, hairs.
You don't have to go out. They come off for Mother's Day. That is the best.
So these are all beautiful. All local flowers are gorgeous.
Moms will love it.
The flowers are beautiful. They do. And every one is unique. They don't. It's not like FTD where you buy a B or C. They make it special just for whoever.
Get your plans ready. I'm sure we'll have a list for you available. Thanks to Hallie Abrams, our wardrobe consultant. We'll put a list up@wk.com.
