This is a video for all the people that say, oh my gosh, everything looks good on you, which I totally take as a compliment, but I want to show you that everything we put on doesn't. I thought this was adorable, and it is adorable. It will be adorable for someone. This is a small, which is my real size, but it is really big in the armholes, and there is a lot of fabric. So while it is an adorable dress It is not an adorable dress on me. It doesn't mean I'm bad. It doesn't mean I'm too big or too small, or my boobs are too big or smaller, any of those things. It just means this dress is not for me. If it's something that appeals to you, where I think it's adorable— there's pockets, it's great, it's easy, it's breezy— I would size down because I think that it runs rather large. But I just wanted to sort of normalize that it's not like magically I pick things, I put it on, and it all looks fantastic. It takes work with styling. It takes work with knowing sort of how things run. And I use that information to help my clients when I work doing personal one-on-one styling, so that if I want to get this dress for someone, I know that it runs big. And then I want to share that with you. But like I said, I just want to normalize that it is not a bippity boppity boop moment, even for those of us that do this all day long professionally. And I love you.
