As I was putting this outfit together. Right. I totally like the top. I like the jeans. I'd originally put it with a different shoe, like a more slingback shoe. But if it's cold and I want to wear boots, I really like how it looks with these black booties. That being said, there was something missing. I sort of have, like, oatmeal here, denim here, black here. Normally, I would suggest pudding, a black belt on to tie it together, but the way it's untucked, you don't really see the black belt. Right. So how do we do what I call sandwich dressing, which is taking one of the elements, like here, this, the black boot, and tying it through the outfit so it looks harmonious. And that's the key. Like, this outfit is fine, but that little bit that's off is that it's missing something black. So, truth, I'm not going to wear big black earrings. That would look weird. I'm not going to wear a big black bracelet. That's going to be weird. So one of the things I thought is I have this. I like vintage brooches. And I think adding this vintage brooch, like, all of a sudden then you're like, now it all works together. Right, Right, right, right. Like, it's that little thing that makes a big difference. So I'm not saying, like, oh, I can't link this for you. This is more of a post. It's about, like, the idea and the theory, as opposed to like a click and buy. Although you can click and buy this and this and that. This. The magic maker, he was. I got him at a flea market probably 15 years ago, but now I love him.
