A short YouTube monologue by creator kind-iguana recommending linen coasters as an ideal, understated hostess gift for summer BBQs. The speaker contrasts coasters with overdone gifts (flowers, wine, candles), notes they ‘‘come in sets of four,’’ and emphasizes their versatile, summery aesthetic and broad appeal.
Okay. I found the best hostess gift because, you know, it's like, barbecue season and hosting season and that kind of stuff. And you're going to someone's house and you want to bring just a little something, maybe not flowers, maybe not wine, and maybe not a candle, because those are, like, a little overdone. How cute is this? It's little linen coasters. They come in sets of four, and everybody needs coasters. But these are different. They're not clunky. They're easy. Just put it down and, like, I don't know, they just feel like summer and fun and backyard and sort of go with anybody's decor. And, I don't know. I'm obsessed. So I figured, I'm not gatekeeping, I'm sharing, because that's what we're all about here.
