These three things helped me make my first million dollars. Number one was getting a sales job. Whether you're selling solar, real estate or literally anything, sales is the one area that you can make a lot of money in a very short amount of time versus a W2 paycheck at a 9 to 5 job. Number two was investing in real estate. A lot of my net worth came from the appreciation of the real estate investments that I had. I would buy real estate, I would renovate them, add value to them, force appreciation into them, and then hold them and rent them out so they would cash flow while the market went up and they continued to appreciate. Number three was building a really strong network and super solid relationships. This is critical to your success. I struggled with this when I was younger. I obviously didn't have a money and I had a big vision and passion and I had a really big dream. And so I really isolated myself and just worked and worked and worked and I didn't start building key relationships until later on in life, as of just a handful of years ago. So to recap, the three things that helped me make my first million dollars was having a sales job, investing in holding real estate and building strong relationships.
