Don't go raise capital, they're not going to add that much value to your business. Outside of writing a check, the most valuable thing in your business to me is that equity. It's precious. You can't just divvy it out.
Yeah. So even if you give 1% equity, that's 100 people, and you're out of equity.
If you need to go raise money, then it's a necessary evil. You got to do it. If you don't, man, bootstrap that baby as long as you can. And never take a dollar of outside capital and hold onto that equity for dear life. Because if and when you go build something really valuable, it just ends up costing you so much money to give up equity.
