Like when you don't have love or affection or approval, you seek it. People in their nature want to be a part of a group. That's why the worst imprisonment you could possibly have is solitude. They don't beat you, they don't challenge you, they make you sit alone. We innately have that desire to fit in. And people will become completely different beings just to fit in with the group. The approval from the outside world is nice for anyone, whether they're an entrepreneur or flipping burgers like it feels good no matter what.
