Elon Musk just dropped one of the wildest predictions that I've ever heard. He said, In 10 to 20 years, work will be completely optional.
10, 20 years, something like that. For me, that's long term. My prediction is that work will be optional. I mean, it'll be like playing sports or a video game or something like that. You know, in the same way, like you can go to the store and just buy some vegetables, or you could grow vegetables in your backyard. It's much harder to grow vegetables in your backyard. But some people still do it because they like growing, growing vegetables.
That's what work is going to be like. AI and robots will be able to to do everything. The work becomes a hobby, not a necessity. He called it the supersonic tsunami. He said, we're already in the singularity. We're just at the top of the roller coaster, about to go down. So the question isn't whether this is coming. The question is are you positioning yourself to thrive in a world of radical abundance, or are you going to be swept away in the process?
