A short personal-transcript excerpt of Hannah Hammond describing her multi-year process of healing family relationships—she reports resolving resentment with her mother and confronting a difficult relationship with her father. A coach (Dr. Ben Hardy) urged her to actively heal that father-daughter relationship as part of her personal and professional growth.

He asked how my relationship was with my parents. I was like, well, funny you asked. I've been working on that one for many years, and I feel like I'm doing really good. I've healed the relationship with my mom. I've let go of all the resentment. My main challenging relationship was the one with my father. And I told him, I truly feel blessed for everything that I've experienced and for my father being the role that he played in my life. Because I know that I would be different and I wouldn't be who I am today without it. And I'm so grateful for the outcomes that I had. I no longer had that victim mentality or that attachment towards what I thought he should be or what I wish my relationship with my father was. I thought that would be good enough answer for Dr. Ben Hardy. But it wasn't. He said, before I continue to coach you, I want you to heal your relationship with your father. I want you to call him and reach out to him and do what you need to do to heal that relationship. And because I respect him so much, I immediately agreed and said, of course I'll do that selfishly, because I want to build a billion dollar company right.
