Hannah Hammond explains why she's betting on data centers. AI demand is exploding, but power infrastructure can't keep up. The U.S. government is pushing domestic data sovereignty, making American data centers a strategic asset with massive growth potential.
And Hammond. Hey. Hey. I have a real estate question for you. If you were to put all your money in one spot in terms of a class of real estate to invest in, what would that be?
Well, right now, I love data centers. With the AI revolution, there's a lot of need for data storage. It's in the cloud, but then that data needs to be stored right. Power requirements are super extensive, which is an issue that they're running into right now with data center development. That's a constraint that a lot of developers are trying to solve. The problem for also the current presidency and wanting to bring manufacturing and start to own more of our resources in the United States instead of outsourcing them. It's important that we develop data centers in the United States versus utilizing other countries data centers for storage because then they control our data and that's a high risk to our country. So there's a massive demand. I think that demand is going to continue to grow and we are going to need data forever. As long as technology continues to exist, and especially now with AI, it's super important that we can store
