Two people talk about hiring implementers and the friction between speed and quality. Recruiting firms don't always deliver, and personal connections often work better, but both have tradeoffs.

How have you found good implementers? Because that's hard.
Going through a lot of people to find the right one, hire quickly and fire just as quickly.
Have you found success in working with recruiting firms or just through your relationships?
Through relationships, and we've started to use some recruiting firms and I've had good success and bad success resumes. You don't know to even the person and you don't really know until they've worked three or four months. That's when you find out you have some people that do amazing for a little while and then they suck.
After that buzz wears off, the dating period ends, honeymoon period.
