Hannah Hammond asks a developer how to scale into multi-hundred-million-dollar deals. The answer stresses efficiency, numbers, and a layered learning process: the more levels you open, the more you learn.
For those who are maybe looking to get in development or scale their development company and get into large deals like this that are hundreds of millions of dollars, what advice would you give to them?
I think I did. I probably went too big, but it turned out to be okay. But development is always what I wanted to do. I don't really know why. Just had an attraction to that. Efficiency is important in everything we do, right? So real estate development is about efficiency. It's about numbers. It's about, you know, creating positive outcomes.
The more levels you open, the more you realize there's more levels.
