Time kills all deals. I try to teach this to my team as this has been one of my greatest edges in business and in life is the sense of urgency to get things done. Being the fastest and being the first is a competitive advantage even if all other things remain equal. A lead comes in or you have an opportunity, you can't get into analysis paralysis or take your sweet dandy time to get back to your client or get back to the seller or get back to whoever it is that's bringing you that opportunity. So I teach my team this. When a deal comes in, follow up right away. That same day day we do exactly what we say we're going to do. If we say we're going to send a meeting at this time, we show up to that meeting on time, we move fast, we move with urgency and we execute. Just that one habit and that one skill will be a game changer for any outcome that you're looking to achieve in your life.
