Hannah Hammond outlines three essential investments: yourself through health and development, real estate for cash flow and leverage, and owning a business for income control. She cites Robert Kiyosaki's advice that a business lets you force appreciation and build enterprise value, unlike a W-2 job.

You're making a huge mistake if you're not investing in these 3 things. Number 1 is yourself. Invest in your health, in your personal development, in therapy, in networks, in anything that makes you a better you. Number 2 is real estate. To have financial freedom, it's so important to invest in assets that put money in your pocket. And the joy with real estate, the value of the asset goes up just from the government continuing to print money due to inflation, and the cost of the debt goes down also due to inflation. And even better, you have somebody else that is paying your debt, and then you get to keep a profit on top of it. And it has amazing tax strategies so you can actually keep more of that money in your pocket versus your ordinary earned income where you don't really have a lot of tax saving strategies. And number 3 is invest in your own business. If you don't mind your own business, something I learned from one of my mentors, Robert Kiyosaki, you really just don't have a lot of control over anything in your life. When you build or buy your own business, you're creating something that has real enterprise value that is worth something that you can force appreciation into and have so much more control over your income because you improve the business to make more money. If you're just working at a W-2 job or a 9-to-5, you really don't have much control over that income.
