And on a purely nervous system level, it makes sense. But here's the part that we are going to gently shift today. What protects you in that moment may not protect your child. And that's where this work lives. Remember how we've talked about holding the tension of the opposites, that two seemingly different things can be true at the same time. This is one of those times. You can deeply love your child and still hesitate when it matters. You can be learning, growing, doing your best, and still miss moments. That doesn't make you a bad parent. And those moments still matter. Your child isn't just hearing the words being said around them. They're watching you.
