ve BINAR TikTok and Social Media for B2B Growth Companies

Webinar (Vendux Group host Andrew Miller) with Thomas (co‑founder & CEO, Varial Agency) about using TikTok and short‑form video for B2B lead generation. Key claims: TikTok functions as a predictive video search engine that accelerates discovery, is growing across older demographics, and can shorten lead conversion (agency data: ~14 days on TikTok vs 30–40 days from Google search leads). Practical advice: align content with brand voice, prioritize quality over frequency, test organic videos and promote top performers, repurpose vertical content to YouTube Shorts/Instagram, prefer agencies with B2B + video experience, and treat efforts as a long‑term search/SEO and brand strategy. Again. Yeah. Good morning. Good afternoon. My name is Andrew Miller. Welcome to today's Venar. I'm one of the partners at the Vendux Group, where we focus on helping clients to grow their sales leadership capital. I am thrilled to have Thomas back as our guest today, and I'll let him introduce himself in a second. But at a high level, Thomas is more than 25 years of experience in sales, a lot of it at the Fortune 100 level, business development and marketing. And he's going to share his insights on leveraging TikTok in particular and social media for. For B2B legion. A couple of quick housekeeping notes before we jump in. So we'll keep everyone muted for the duration of the webinar. There'll be a Q and A at the end. So you can either use the chat function in zoom to submit your questions or just feel free to open up your mics and engage with Thomas directly at the end of the webinar. The webinar is being recorded today and it will be available later today on our site and on YouTube. Thomas, I am really looking forward to chatting about this. This topic. So I'm going to ask you just tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you do at the Varial Agency at a high level? And then I know that you. You have prepared a presentation and so you'll be sharing your screen and we'll jump into that and there'll be a Q and A at the end. All right, so again, welcome, Thomas. Thank you.
Thanks for having me. So at a high level, I'm the co founder and CEO of Varial Agency, and we really started the company to strengthen the synergy between sales and marketing and bring stronger, you know, and this is why it's such a great opportunity to work together with the Vendex team. So today's topic is one we get asked about on the regular in terms of like, what should we be doing with TikTok? We're a B2B brand. Should we even be there isn't just about to people doing funny dances and it's way, way more than that. And that's what we talk about today.
Excellent. Great. Well, I really appreciate the. The presentation you. You have put together. I got a very sneak peek. So I'm just gonna pass the virtual stage over to you. You can share your screen and jump right in.
All right, thanks a lot. Share my screen here. Okay, so today's topic is really about, you know, TikTok and specifically for B2B lead generation, there's a Lot of questions about this. A lot of people think it may or may not be for them, for their business. And part of that is the way the TikTok began and became popular. It really did become popular based on, you know, teen video dance challenges like this one here. But since then it has grown into something quite a lot different and which is very important for B2B and really any brand in particular. So what TikTok has really become is a predictive video search engine. So you, every individual is training the TikTok algorithm to find the videos you want to see based on the hashtags you search for and the information you provide. TikTok passively by what you're actually watching, what you're saving, what you're commenting on and what you're sharing. So once you get into TikTok, if you're not a power TikTok user, I encourage you to get in there, search for some hashtags that are relevant to your business interests, your domains of interest, and then the algorithm will start feeding you more and more valuable information. Valuable information via videos that fit your. Interesting planning has been, this is one and we'll share this video in the presentation. You can see it's a great Harvard Business Review TikTok that goes for several minutes talking about the difference between strategy and planning. So it's just one small example of the type of content you can get that is focused on far more business oriented than, you know, what people may perceive from a first glance of what they see on TikTok. So being that discovery is at the essence of what TikTok is for everyone, we can start to understand how important that is for B2B brands. Because what's happening is video is overtaking what the search zero moment of truth has been for really decades now for Google. Right? So Google has always had this concept. The second you think of something, you go and you type into your search window and that's what the zero moment of truth is. And that's where Google has like controlled and dominated that your access and onboarding Internet and your information. Well, what TikTok is doing is they're leapfrogging that before you even have that zero moment of truth. The algorithm has discerned that what you may be interested next is this because you have certain behaviors and interests that are similar to other profiles that they have. So it's actually ahead in leapfrogging the search zero moment of truth, which is why TikTok is so important for B2B brands. And so when you recognize this and it's the key, the king of discovery. You understand how powerful this could be for lead generation, right? So like this is instead of people typing in a search for whatever you do, let's say you make corrugated packaging, right? So you type in core, someone prospect types in corrugated packaging. Here comes a list of 25, corrugated packaging, sponsored text, you know, listings, or you're on TikTok and you hashtag corrugated packaging. You get a video of the most popular corrugated packaging video that there is, which maybe there's only one or two. And now you are in first and pole position for that viewer. So it's very, very powerful and it's a, it's a paradigm shift in, in how to engage with prospects earlier and more powerfully. So then I know what everyone is thinking is that is my target audience really there, right? Like this is great, you know, but I just think it's for, it's for younger demographics, it's not for serious business topics. And that just is not the case. Your target audience is either already on TikTok or, or will be soon. So if your space, if you go to your domain, you hashtag everything around your domain, you find no videos there, that is cheap real estate, psychological real estate that you should go claim immediately, right? Because the, that you also get rewarded for being there first because you're gonna garner the first views when anyone searches for that and you're going to become the leading influencer in that domain for those hashtags. Alternatively, if there's a lot of people in your domain in this space, then you really are in a catch up position. You already know that there's interest there and you have the ability to study what has come before you. What's getting views, what's getting clicks, what's getting engagements. And now you can, you have that even though you're a little bit behind, you have the benefit of seeing what, what's come before you. And now you can, you know, create your strategy, create your content and claim your space right before your situation competitively gets worse. So what we're really seeing here is that the, there is a new media war and it's all about converting eyeballs from traditional HD widescreen format to palm of your hand, vertical format content. And this is really sort of finishing what the iPhone started. You know, when the iPhone came out, the concept of, you know, nonstop, endless streaming video was just not practical because the cost of bandwidth and data centers and yada yada yada, the plans weren't there, the data throughput wasn't there. The costs were too high. Now it's everywhere and it's completely changed the game. So people spend on TikTok 65 to 90 minutes a day, depending on what study you look at, which is terrifying to traditional media. So the news stations, the 24 hour news channels, the, you know, even streaming services like Netflix and Hulu and Prime Video, they are scared to death because like we only have so much time in a day to give our attention to anything, right? So if one platform can gobble up up to an hour and a half a day, that really crowds out a lot of your available free time to look at anything else. So it's, it's a very, very important space. And which is also why Google is not leaving the space uncontested and why they launched YouTube shorts just a few months ago to compete. And as an agency who does a lot, we're a top producer for both TikTok and we were very early in Google. TikTok shorts, sorry, Google shorts. We know how much these companies are fighting each other for supremacy, for your attention. It really is the new media war. People then ask, well, hey, we've been doing stuff on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, messenger, what about those guys, where do they fall into play? Well, based on all the platforms and we talked about attention Spanish, this is 53 minutes for TikTok is actually pretty low on the studies we've seen, but you know, we've seen as high as 90, 94 minutes. But relatively speaking, you can see that TikTok and YouTube are dominating attention on a platform basis. So you can see Facebook has fallen to 30 minutes a day, Snapchat's 30 minutes, Instagram's 33 minutes. So TikTok and YouTube are roughly double what the other traditional, I would say more traditional social media platforms are. So this is where your audience is spending their time and where their attention is focused. So then, okay, what about age range, what about gender? What's the demographics? So it leans a little bit more female, not a huge disparity, but slightly toward that 60, 40 split. And then age range, of course it trends a little bit younger. 67% of 18 to 19 year olds on there, but 25% of 50 to 59 year olds are there, almost 40% of 40 to 49. And the 40 to 60 demographic is actually the fastest growing segment of TikTok engagement. So if they aren't there now, they will be by Thanksgiving or Christmas. That's how fast things are going. So what about results? So we have the benefit of having real Laboratories, if you will, with multiple clients testing different types of campaigns and different industries all day long. And what we've been able to find is that, you know, TikTok leads on average are converting about twice as quickly as Google search ad leads. So what we found is if, if a traditional, let's say B2B buying cycle from, you know, getting a lead to fill out a form on either Google landing page or a TikTok based landing page, what we found is when they, but from just lead capture to like they're in a real opportunity and TikTok it was 14 days and Google it was 30 to 40 days. And why we believe that is the case is that as I referenced earlier, TikTok is more immediate and more engaging and there's less competition surrounding you because if someone's searching for something on Google, they see you and they probably look at three or four or five or six or seven other different competitors right next to you in the, on the screen. In TikTok you're going to be a first result and they can get engaged with you immediately. You can swipe and see more content from that person. You can immediately engage more deeply and more meaningfully directly in TikTok than you can in Google where Google, you're basically invited to be like hey, you're in battle with everyone else who wants these eyeballs right now on the same pane of glass and TikTok you have the opportunity to be, have their full attention. Visual, video, audio, everything, right? You have their full attention and it's just leapfrogs that whole, well, I'm going to look at three or four considerations and then I'm going to maybe engage with a, with a company more deeply in TikTok that kind of short circuits that and you're like hey, this is the first one came up. This looks interesting or it doesn't and they flip to the next one, right? So it's like you're in or you're out on TikTok and once you're the one that's in now, they're engaged with you solely. So you really have a stronger opportunity on TikTok to make that powerful first impression that short circuits that, you know, multi competitor evaluation cycle in a, in a big way. So, and who doesn't want faster lead convergence? So great, now what you're partially convinced to fully convinced. What do we do? Do we get the CEO dancing in the lobby? Not so fast. You need a strategy or you really could mess this up. This is something that you have to consider don't just give someone an iPhone 15 Pro and go film stuff in the lobby. Your B2B brand. These videos could stick around forever. People could stitch them and really make a mess of your brand. So you want to be careful and thoughtful about how you present your brand on TikTok. So one of the big things we've got this TikTok guide for B2B brand and nine key points here. So like know your brand and don't try to fake it. Don't if you're a stuffy buttoned up brand, don't try to be the young hipster doing the dances and it's just not going to relate like it's not going to connect. You're going to do more damage. Be who you are legitimately understand your brand insight on what you mean to your audience and and be that on TikTok. Study other creators in the space and see what they do. Their likelihood at this point is probably somebody else who's in your domain who's doing great content. Study what they're doing, study what works, study what doesn't work and help that inform what your plan will be. A great starting point for your first few videos is addressing real pain points of your audience like why does your business exist? Like what problems do you solve for them? And start there because that's what people are looking for. Connect with their, their pain points and make content around that and then be the thought leader in that space for that. Another great place to start is create valuable how how to content. Like let's say you sell a complex, you know, technology product, how to product, how to guides of how to do things. Adobe does a great job at this. Grammarly is doing a great job at this. They also do number five, announcing new features. Adobe does a great job of announcing and highlighting new features on their TikTok channel. So people are engaged with, with the brand, what's coming next, what to get excited about, et cetera. The next point is probably the most contested, contentious points out there and everyone has a different opinion. Some people say post 10 times a day. I don't think that's really necessary for a B2B brand. And the algorithm really has changed over the last six to eight weeks. Where it used to reward content creators like the more content the better. And now that there's more and more people on TikTok it's sort of changed where it's rewarding better content more so you can kind of dial back the frequency of posting as you dial up the quality. Right. So two years A year and a half ago, you could just shotgun gorilla style iPhone in the car, driving content 10 times a day and the algorithm reward you and put your posts out there all the time. That's no longer the case. Your content needs to be engaging in some form or fashion that has value. So is it humorous, is it entertaining, is it informative, is it educational? These are the types of attributes that you're going to be rewarded for by the algorithm. It's going to, you know, get your content seen. The other thing is once you've created a bed of organic content, you have the opportunity and encourage you to study what content is performing best organically and then promote that video to expand your reach as a new brand. Getting on B2B, you're not going to get, most likely just, just being real, you're not going to get 40 million viewers like by month two, right? It's not going to happen organically, but you could very easily get thousands or tens of thousands of meaningful views to your target audience, get enough data to understand, hey, this performs 70% better than this. Let's take this video, let's improve it and let's make an ad campaign for this, right? And now promote that. And then that promoted ad will get you your millions of reach and already true tested content in the domain, right? So you can easily go from hundreds to thousands to millions of views with validated, powerful, converting content on TikTok. The other thing here is the gorilla style video. A lot of people, there's a lot of bad advice on TikTok too. There's a lot of bad advice everywhere. But really TikTok like, hey, this gorilla style video, just shoot, just, just shoot. No matter what, just shoot, shoot more content, shoot videos, just shoot, just start shooting. That's maybe cool for an individual influencer with very little to lose. But if you're an established B2B brand, you have a lot to lose. You have market, you know, a market value that you don't want to diminish by a mistake on TikTok, right? So you want to think about what you're doing. You want to present yourself in a, in a light that is consistent with your brand. And really the gorilla style is probably not what you want for most B2B brands. Of course there's exceptions to every rule, but as a guide, we would encourage you to avoid that. The other big question we get, I think weekly is, hey, what influencers should we work with? And there are cases where a very good fit with a solid influencer makes a lot of sense. And I would say there's some really powerful influencers in the recreational vehicle space. They do reviews every single day. They have millions of followers doing. If you're a recreational vehicle industry company, that would be a good type of influencer to work with. Not every industry has influencer with that much specificity and that much audience where it makes that much sense. There's a lot of people trying to get 20,000, 10,000, 30, 50, 100,000 for sponsoring a post on their channel and they don't have that many followers and it's not really that targeted. And brands can waste a lot of money just like kind of spraying and praying some influencer money around. It's just not going to get you that far for most brands most of the time it's going to make better sense to create your own content. Be think of becoming your own influencer. You have something powerful to stay in the space or you won't have a business in this space. Right? So figure out the best way to become the influencer in the space that people go to and then spread your message with sponsored ads and bring everyone directly to you. Why build up another third party in between yourself and your audience? This is a great opportunity to connect directly with your audience. We encourage you to do so. Now there are some terrible sarcasm intended side effects to doing TikTok videos. All right, so investing the time and energy to make tic tac videos also allows you to post on YouTube shorts and Instagram stories at no additional cost. So while you're building your your TikTok kingdom, you are also expanding your influence across both Instagram and YouTube shorts. 2 the Next Generation search engine is video based. We're watching it happen right now and text is on its way out. I don't know if it's ever going to die, but it's no longer going to be the lead. So it's time to get ahead of the wave. Google is already rewarding your text based SEO for your YouTube shorts and YouTube content. So it'll rank your content higher if there's video associated with it. So video Google is already telling the world that video is is being rewarded. So listen, right? Google is also in discussions for maybe over two years now with TikTok to get access to their core data so they can actually index TikTok videos for search results. So now when you search, you know they're, the future is going to be there's going to be YouTube shorts videos and TikTok videos right underneath the search results. So it's not, it's going to change from being text to being video. So it really is a non negotiable at this point to kind of like you get in the game or really you're falling farther and farther and farther behind. So. And how do you get started in this? Right. So like you're picking up the message. Makes sense. What do I do? Like what's an actionable thing to do? So for most B2B brands, jumping into a full blown video production is probably not an inside team task that people are sitting around waiting to jump on. Right. Like knowing how to do lighting, video scripting, mics, editing, all this stuff is probably not an in house thing. If it is, great, have your media team go at it. If not, you probably want to try to find an agency with both strong B2B and video production experience. Of course we're one of them and of course we say that. But if you're not going to work with var, give us a call. If you talk to someone, please make sure that they have B2B and video production experience. We recommend avoiding again there's a million of them avoiding individual influencer style promo agencies as their approaches are generally wildly different and could be rather high risk for a B2B brand.
Right.
Because some of the things that are outrageous will get you views but not necessarily fit with the reputation you want for your brand. Right. Overly humorous, not serious enough, doesn't really fit, could diminish your brand value. Right. So you really want to work with an agent that understands that and like knows how to like ride the line. And lastly, you know, this is really being part of a long term plan. This instance is so tied into SEO search results and everything. This is really the new playing field for the tension economy. Economy. And you'll get in eventually. So it's smart to get in front. That. That concludes sort of like the. The overview presentation we have today and I'm happy to spend the remainder of time addressing any questions.
Wow, that, that is really. There's a lot of food for thought in there. So let's just like go to the last slide for a second and if just articulate. For companies who are very accustomed to automated sequences on LinkedIn or SEO campaigns or email campaigns, how and where do you map the similarities or the differences between even beginning to think about a campaign on TikTok or is that not even the right question? Is it apples and oranges?
I think they're very related. It's just a different medium. Right. So you're saying you're talking to a Targeted group. Right. And if you have an email list, right, these people have some level of interest in what you do, you have some thing to communicate a value to them and you do it via email with an email address on TikTok, you're going, TikTok's going to be figuring out who that email list is per se, right. Like, and you are going to drive what is important by your hashtags that you embed in your, in your messaging and the, in the subject matter of your content. So I would say your message is maintained, stays the same, but instead of having to have email addresses because this is about discovery, TikTok's algorithm do the heavy lift and to find those new audience members for you.
Well then what about the, the world of targeting where in, in traditional outreach we, we can be so specific on the Persona, the title, the, the geography, the size of company, et cetera, et cetera. Is that possible on, on TikTok?
So when you build a campaign, yes, for organic, you really rely on TikTok to do it for you. And that's similar to all the other social media platforms. But I say TikTok is probably stronger at, on this point because they have one millisecond to get you interested in video, right. Like you're gonna next so fast if it's not interesting to you. So like they've trained their algorithm with let's say, the hundreds of thousands of people who are in your target basket in the world, right. They know the similarities demographically, psychographically, content preference wise industries. They're interested in content, they're interested in, they have all that. They have whatever you have, demographic, city income, industry times that, times 200. Those are the variables they're using to figure out, hey, maybe there's people you haven't even thought about, but we think would be interested in this. And then they test it 10 times and they get like a 90% success rate and then they shoot it out to 10,000 people. Right. So they're doing that, but the AI and their algorithms are doing a lot of that heavy lifting for you.
And so before embarking on a campaign, does one need to have a body of content?
I would, I mean, it's a good idea to have, you know, I'd make 10 videos.
Yeah. Yes, yes. What, what, what's the criteria for determining whether content is good? Is it a bit of a chicken and egg thing is on the one hand you've got this whole, the millions of people that are searching and you know, they spend 1 millisecond on one video and 10 milliseconds on another. So that 10 milliseconds already indicates that there's more interest in that content.
Yeah, I mean, the data that we're able to get for ourselves and our clients, you know, it's fascinating, right? Like, you definitely have, like, how many people, like started viewing it, Right? That's one attribute. Like, how many people watch it? 25%. How many people watched the. 75%. How many people watched it all the way through? How many people became a lead? Right. So by those metrics, you determine what's valuable content. So we found just some pointers here. 19 seconds is a great sweet spot to gather people who have no familiarity with your brand or your domain. For more serious potential buyers, we found over a minute is highly valuable for creating conversion where you basically doing your entire sales pitch in a short form video. And they fill out a form like, hey, I'm ready to buy something. I'm just not sure do I want option A or B. Can someone please contact me and let me know what would fit my needs best? Right. So there's different video lengths, do different things, right?
I want to. Thanks. I want to open up the floor to see if anybody else wants to chime in with a question or a comment. Let's. I. Thomas from. So what, what does the what about for professional services companies where, you know, no dancing, no singing, no. No dog stuff, you know, you. Professional services, what is content? Are you filming the executives of the firm talking and sharing information and best practices? And as you just said, oh, here's my condensed 45 second pitch. This is what we do, how we add value and where we make an impact. If you're interested, if this resonates, then let's have a conversation. What, what is the right content?
I think a great place to start for professional services is being educational, right? Like in the presentation I have that Harvard Business Review presentation. That's a great example for professional services, which is why they probably showed it to me, right? Like I'm in professional services and it's like, what's strategic planning? And they're like, there is no such thing as strategic planning. There's strategy and there's planning and don't put these two things together. So that's a great educational, you know, way to engage with the audience, demonstrate your thought leadership. And, you know, I would avoid going into like the pitch in the video for yourselves. Like, the, the medium is the message, right? Like your pitch is that you're demonstrating your knowledge and expertise. That's Going to be attractive to your target audience. They'll come to you. Right. So educational, you know, about what their biggest concerns and pain points are. It's great content for professional services firm.
Can you reference case studies or use cases that you've got with clients recently that, that, you know, B2B clients who, who are generating new leads and converting those leads by following your formula?
Oh yeah, I mean absolutely. That we actually did, we referenced it. That's where we come up with the data point of like a twice as fast lead conversion. So through the entire funnel I'm talking not, not just a marketing qualified lead, I'm talking like people bought in 14 days versus 30 days. So that's real data, you know, that's real power. So making the extra investment to go into TikTok, making that content, running that campaign is, you know, it's the time value of money, how things cycle through. It's quite, quite a big impact.
Thomas, this is, I'm sorry, if you don't mind, this is Jorge Pillai. Thomas, one question in regards to the content, I mean you for sure are familiar with PowerPoint presentations that get converted into videos. I mean two, three slides with a very sharp direct to the point message gets converted to video. Based on your experience, is that a type of content that could call attention to the users of TikTok? I mean for more serious targets, let's say like for example, educational, I mean sending a very clear message about what we do. Is that something that you think is going to call attention or in TikTok is just more about the real videos that somebody shot with a phone?
Well one, the PowerPoint is going to be natively in a widescreen format so it's not going to take up the whole screen. You got a couple shots against you if you're just using a PowerPoint, you know, pre recorded thing right now, if that's what you have to work with. You can change PowerPoint format to be in a vertical format, right? You can, you can change the presentation settings to make it the vertical size. And also you definitely want to do a PowerPoint where you're a person's video was like in like one of the sides, right? So you can see the person talking and like the videos above and around them. Does that make sense? Like you sort of have the face in front of the presentation. That's something people do quite a lot. Only the PowerPoint with a voiceover, that's going to be a pretty bad, pretty bad experience on TikTok. It's not going to get Viewed, it's going to be bad. But make the, make the PowerPoint you can use a service like Loomly is a free tool that you can record your face and it'll like superimpose it over the presentation. I think you get like a minute or something free and there's like, you can get a paid plan, like 15 bucks a month. But that'd be a great way to start getting content using PowerPoint as a basis before you're shooting something more complicated.
Okay, thank you. Thank you. Yeah, I guess my approach was a little bit antiquate, but yeah, I mean.
You'Re competing against, you know, you gotta look at who you're competing against too, you know, like, you know, you're competing against the eyeballs and it's like, it's not just like you're in a stream of content with everything else that may is be more interesting, like jet skis, vacation homes, PowerPoint presentation, you know, I mean, like, you tell me, what do you think is going to happen?
Yeah, sure.
Thank you. Thank you.
Thomas. So, you know, TikTok has that, that native video functionality. So I to, to my knowledge, I mean, I've seen my kids in action. They're, they're using the video right there in TikTok. Right. Is that the only, that's a default and the only way that you can create content or you're creating content in other mediums or media and then uploading?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, yeah. We never create it directly in TikTok. That's for consumers. Like in our, in our perspective, that's like a consumer tool. Right. Every professional brand we know is using. You get a TikTok business account and you get a TikTok creator account and you, you can upload videos into a Web portal for TikTok and you're creating that and editing it in like professional video editing software.
Okay. With, with your clients. What, what's the balance between, you know, you, you working with clients these days who've already gone down the path of social media, investing in social media and you're, you're just helping them to go to the next level versus those that are starting the journey for the first time.
Yeah. So I'd say a lot of the brands are working with, they are, they've done, they've experimented with social media, but they haven't really, I would say, invested in social media and they don't have a strategy. Right. We're generally helping people get on the social media bandwagon. Maybe they got onto the track and did A couple test laps and were like, hey, we saw a little bit, but we're not really sure what to do next. We don't really have like, no one has the time to work on this. But we realize the opportunity. Can you help us? Because we don't want to hire an internal team to do this. Can you just help our team do all the stuff that needs to happen? And that's where we come in. We're like, okay, we'll help you with the strategy, the content, plan the production, and you'll get all the reports and metrics and all that gets to everything you want. So that, that's a very normal engagement.
Okay, let's see. Any other questions from the floor? Okay, so just in the. It's almost, almost a quarter to the hour, Thomas, what, what are your contact details? How do people get in touch with you? Any, any, any other final closing thoughts, words of wisdom should people mention Vendux? Hey, I, I saw you on, on the Vendux Vibinar. Can you help me, you know, assessment? What, what. I'll pass it over to you. This is your opportunity to share contact details and what's next if people want to get in touch with you?
Yeah, no thanks. You can always reach out to myself. My personal email here at @varel is thomas t h o m a s@varialagency v a r I a l agency dot com. And we'd be happy to you have a discussion, see if there's a way we can, we can help you out.
Okay. And you, you, you have assessment or discovery calls with, with prospective clients to see whether or not they're a good fit and how you can help.
Absolutely. So every client comes to us. Every prospective client, I should say, comes to us with. They have some sort of business challenge. Like, hey, no one wants to get on TikTok because they want to be on TikTok. Right. You have growth goals. Right. And like TikTok is a way to help reach your growth goals. Now you may come to us and we have like a 30 minute discovery call. Like, you tell us your business challenge, we talk a little bit about the resources you have to put into that and we can tell you pretty quickly, hey, I think we would recommend you do this or this and probably not that. Right? So we invite everyone and on our website you can pick a time that works for you to schedule a discovery call. We call it, it's just a no obligation, no cost conversation. Hey, does this make initial sense to keep the conversation going? We'll, we'll get into a little bit about numbers, what our programs might, might cost, what the investment would be and what your likely expected results would look like in what time frame. So that's, that's the way to start the engagement. Just say, hey, does this make sense, you know, from business to business, you know, does it make sense for you guys, gals, does it make sense for us? And we kind of continue or don't continue the conversation from there.
Oh, one last question that I just recalled. With all the social media out there, how much of the work that you're doing with clients today is TikTok focused versus, you know, more of a multi platform strategy.
So we are on every platform for all of our clients that there's no reason not to be because once you create the content for TikTok, there's no reason not to repurpose it across the other channels. That being said, in the last two years we went from let's think about TikTok to TikTok first and everything else. TikTok and YouTube shorts are first now, always without question and everything else comes after. So that's kind of, that's how fast and how much things have changed, you know, And I'm gonna be honest, like as a coming from a very strong video production background, can't say I absolutely love the vertical format and it's like artistic limitations. But from a business perspective, that's where the eyeballs are and that's where the attention is. So we have to help our clients get there. Right? So this isn't like, hey, we love TikTok. TikTok's the greatest thing. Our personal premise is TikTok. Like, hey, that's where the eyeballs are that you want to get in front of. This is what we need to do to get there. Right? So if a new service comes out, you know, in seven months and blows TikTok out of the water, we'll be there too. Like, that's our job. Like we will be at the frontier helping our clients make the most of new opportunities to get their message out to their target audiences.
