This is a YouTube video titled "Being busy isn't a badge of honour" containing a motivational talk or monologue recorded in 2025. The speaker discusses the misconception that being busy equates to productivity, emphasizing the importance of rest, simplicity, and intentional work to avoid burnout and achieve better results. The content encourages viewers to prioritize ease and peace over exhaustion.
We've heard it before but I bet you're busy. Being busy is not a badge of honor. Somewhere along the way we started glorifying exhaustion. Jam packed schedules overflowing to do lists like being maxed out means you're doing it right. But here's the truth. Busy doesn't mean productive and burnout is a terrible business strategy. You don't get extra points from running yourself into the ground. You get results when you do the right things, not all the things at once. Rest is productive, white space is powerful. Simplicity is scales. Believe me I've been there a lot. To be good at what we do we need brain space to think, to be creative and to serve our clients. You can't do that when you're constantly running around under endless pressure. You don't have to earn your success through exhaustion. You are allowed to build with more ease, intention and peace. So let go of the busy badge and choose better, not more.
