Welcome to Launch House.
We're here at a luxury house on the Gold Coast.
Five business owners will join me, Tina Tower, as I pull back the curtain.
For the first time so we can see what it takes to launch her.
Empire builder, the world's best online education for female course creators. Get ready to watch the action, excitement, chaos, fulfillment and drama unfold.
Okay, it's the final day of Lord's House.
Sad face.
Every other day it's been woo and now sad face times insert here. And you know, it's been such a whirlwind. It has been so busy as launches always are. We haven't had much of a chance to really stop and reflect. Like, I know a lot of it. You walk out every morning and see whales jumping and go, oh my gosh. But it's wild to me. It's wild to me that we're here in this beautiful home. It's wild that we're here all together and that I get to host you like this and then we get to have a company that can welcome so many amazing women and help them grow their dreams. Like, it's just crazy. But it hasn't always been like that, obviously for both me and for you as well. And so today I really want to like talk about where you've come from and how far you've come and be able to reflect on that as well because you've all done so well and you've supported me so well. I don't want to talk about her.
I'm gonna come all time.
But it's been such a weird experience for me to have you here and to hear you on discovery calls and to have that support. I'm very not used to that and not very good at accepting that. And I love you and thank you so much.
So I started with an online course and now membership and in this whole online world because I really wanted to impart the knowledge that I had and helped so many others succeed. I was sick and tired of seeing travel agents, you know, curled up in a corner and struggling with the way that they were handling their business. So for me it was about helping.
As many people as I possibly could.
Sharing what I had and the knowledge that I had to really help others succeed.
I guess what got me into the world of online creation was I was a burnt out health professional. I had been working as a health professional for 20 plus years and I just couldn't sustain the one on one model anymore. So I was looking for a new challenge. I spent the first six to eight months kind of lost, I think, looking for somebody that had all of the things that could help me. And then thankfully, I found Tina. And the impact and the legacy I want to leave is to inspire more health professionals to live a really big life, but look after themselves along the way. All of the tools that I'm learning with Tina are helping me get there. And I just want health professionals to be as healthy as the people that they're helping.
So I have spent the last 20 years in the media and PR industry, and for many years I was speaking, so I would be charging minimal, mostly speaking for free. And it was December 2021, so almost two years ago now, where I was asked to speak for a corporate client. It was a very busy time and I had no time in my schedule to fit it in. So I charged the client $30,000 and they took 46 minutes to hit accept on that quote. And it was a real landmark moment for me because I realized I'd been undercharging all these years. So of course I fit that speaking gig in to the schedule. And then I created a course called Paid to Speak, because after that it opened up a whole new world of paid speaking, lucrative gigs. And I thought, if I can do this, so can others. And I'm really proud. Now I've launched the course three times, paid to speak, and I've had just over 100 people go through the course and they are now earning $10,000 plus per speaking gig. And I love it. I love being responsible for launching people's paid speaking careers because too many of us, especially women, really undervalue ourselves and we give away all of the knowledge in our head for free. And so I'm really proud to to now be responsible for over 100 people launching their paid speaking crits.
I got into the world of course creation because I knew that the tools and strategies that I talked to divorced women about needed to be shared more prolifically. I feel like this is information that more women need and I have that. So I wanted to package that up so that people could access it at an affordable way and in exactly when they need it. So it was going from one to one to one to many that drove me to online course creation.
I've been a Dietitian for about 15 years now, and I've only just started to go into the online space. For many years I was trading my time for money doing one on one private consulting. It was only really till I had kids and Covid happened that I wanted to leverage my time more. So I've Been a member of her Empire Builder for two years now. I dabbled a little bit in online before that, but obviously it didn't go anywhere. I didn't do anything. And it wasn't until I joined the program and I did my first launch and I made about 10 grand in that launch. And I thought, this is definitely going to work. Like, I can leverage my time here and help so many more people. And since then, it's just kind of grown in leaps and bounds and I feel like I'm only just getting started. My goal is to outname my husband. Motherfucker.
I mean, you know, when we decided to do Launch House, you have ideas. That seems like it won't be all that hard. There's so many moving parts and there's so many logistics to it. I was very nervous because I've always launched alone. And so, yeah, I was nervous about a lot of things. But would I do it again? Yes, 100%. I don't think I would do it every launch because it's very expensive. It's a lot of logistics. I love Launch. I don't know if we'd film it like this again because it's just lovely to show behind the scenes and get. Get people like Eng engaged in the launch. Obviously love that you're watching. However, it's like, it's a lot of logistics in there. But I have loved launching with other people and we definitely have to do that again. But we have a winner of Launch House. So we've had things go well. We've had things not go so well. Probably the hardest part has been the whole filming of all of the Launch House activities and all of that sort of thing. And sometimes when those things happen, you see people react to situations in a good way and in a bad way, and you never know and everyone's gonna surprise you at different times. And so the winner of Launch House, besides who really stepped up and stepped into it, is Matt Tallow.
I wanted to edit this. I'm going to hold back the tea.
Matt has filmed, edited, risen to the end of it.
What is it?
Matt, you are crowned the winner of what?
Yes. Loose, Matt. Yes. Loose, Matt. High five. Loose Matt. Y Sam.
