Introducing Kajabi's new community feature

Kajabi launched Vibely, a built-in community tool with segmented chat circles, gamified challenges, and live meetups. It's designed to replace Facebook groups for managing member engagement directly in the Kajabi app.
Oh, everybody, welcome, welcome. So I wanted to go live for you because last week Kajabi announced the acquisition of Vibley, which is a community product, and they have popped it on into some lucky Kajabi Hero user accounts, and I'm lucky enough to be one of them. And so for the last couple of days, we. We have been playing around with Vibely so that we can kind of show it to our clients in her Empire Builder and figure out what's going to be best practice before it's rolled out to everyone in January. And so I thought I'd come on to just show you what we can see so far because I, for one, am super psyched about having an alternative to Facebook communities because, you know, they can be complex. There's a lot of moving parts, there's a lot of notifications, notifications can get lost, all of that sort of thing. So I've been looking for a community product and we've tried a few different ones, but nothing has been as good as a Facebook community itself. And so I want to show you Vibly, because I think I'm hoping at the moment I have added none of our members to it because obviously I wanted to demo it to everybody and I didn't want to have people's personal names in the demo. So it is blank at the moment. But. But I'm hoping that once everybody comes on, it's going to overtake Facebook groups and we can start moving off that next year. So let me give you a little tour of what it looks like. So if you're on my phone, I've got my phone here. It's going to be a little hard to. Hard to see, but it will give you a good indication of what's going on here. So when we come to Viably, what we've got is our dashboard here. So we've got our whole thing. This is our her Empire Builder community. And what we have is different circles down the side. So we've got, in our different chat parts because what we find is within our community, we have some of our members are, you know, making multiple six figures a year. They have their tech stuff all dialed in, so they don't want to. They kind of tune out from the Facebook group because they don't want to be part of the questions of, you know, how do we do this, how do we hit this button, that sort of thing. So we've got like a whole Kajabi tech chat that can be posts, you can add screenshots, photos that we can answer those questions. Then if you just want to celebrate, we've got a whole chat one here in celebration to be like, oh, my God, I just did the thing. Because, you know, it's hard to find people that will celebrate with you. So everyone that we've got that set up, you've got the choice to either set it up in like, a chat format like I've got here, or to set it up in, like, a post format like I have here. And so for the celebrations, I've got chat. For the other ones, I've got posts. So we've got to share your stuff channel so that we've got somewhere where our members can go. You know, I'm looking for a podcast guest on this. I'm looking for an affiliate partner, or I have just put my sales page up and I serve other course creators. Hey, check it out. So we've got a dedicated space where people can actually share their stuff and do that. And then we've got a general Q and A. So we'll probably end up adding a few more chats under here so that people can just go into the stream that they want to go into. What I love so much about it is obviously being able to segment that stuff. Also, you can view it on your Kajabi app on your phone. So I think it will end up taking the place of Facebook groups. With that, you also got a leaderboard. So when people complete challenges, it's all gamified, which I'm so excited about. You get points, you get leaderboards. Like, it's super, super fun. So I want to show you that part for the challenges in there as well. So when you're going into the challenges, what we have here. So inside our membership, we have a monthly challenge every month that we kind of go, Here's a main part of our curriculum, and if you implement just that one thing, like by the end of the year, it'll transform the business. And so we have those challenges, but it's really hard for people to kind of stay top of mind and going, what was the challenge? What am I supposed to be doing? So we've got all of our challenges here and people can join it. So they can say, I'm going to take part in this. They can share all of their different learning with that. And then you get badges and you get points as you go through. So that's a really cool one. The other one that I really liked is just like casual ones in going, okay, if we go to create and create a new challenge in terms of really solidifying a Community together we can do. Okay, we've got 14 days. So I want to set this one up to be under. We're going to do it with new challenges, not monthly challenges. And you can have all things to like foster that connection. So I saw one here of these are all pre populated by Kajabi already. So there's one here, make a friend, which I thought is so cute. Right. So complete the challenge by posting a selfie and a little bit about yourself. So a really great way when people come into our community to go, all right, here we go, let's post that, let's say hello. So we're going to add that one in there. You can add your own photo or it picks random photos for you. So for the purposes of demonstration, I'm just going to do that and so people can join that and get points on our community straight away, which I really love. So there's this, the chats, there's the challenges. The other thing that I'm super, super into, which I'm like, oh my gosh, this is amazing. For anybody who runs memberships, you're gonna love this. So we've got meetups, so at the moment for all of our live sessions in our, in our membership, we have a whole calendar that people have to go to and then they list out all of our main events that are happening every month and people add them to their individual calendars. Right. So it's a different link, it's a different place to go to with that in here we can create all of it here in meetups, go live within the Kajabi community product and then record and save all within the community product. Like it is amazing. So let me show you the live room so that you can see what that looks like. Because for a lot of people that be going, is it going to be as good as Zoom? So you can see here you've got the start recording button so you don't have to record it the whole time. You can go live if you want and just record for later certain bits. You can do all of your different background effects just like you do in Zoom. So if you want to like blur your background, you can do that. You've got all of your normal audio settings, you can share your screen very easily. Record, stop, start recording. I love this. So you've got like your whole chat box here that people can easily raise their hands, put emojis in, do all the chat, everything in there. And you've got breakout groups as well. So you can have up to 200 people within your Kajabi subscription. So you don't need a Zoom subscription anymore. I know for us we pay about $75 a month just for zoom. So I'm like, this is amazing. And then it's no, like, what's the password? Where's the zoom link? Which room are we in? It's all in the one place. So I'm obviously very, very excited about that part. Okay. So I'm just going to leave that one. So they're the main parts that I wanted to show you was your circles in your chat so you can have different circles. So like our main membership then we have a higher level mastermind Empress circle that we will have a different circle for that's only visible to them. And then we'll also have six figure circle, which is our members that are making over six figures a month will have access to just that channel. So you can add channels to different people depending on what levels they're at. Make it such a beautiful user experience for them in there. All right, let me just have a look at the questions and go here. Hello, Michelle. Yes, it is so cool. Okay, so Sharon has that. Is it included in the regular subscription or an additional cost? It is included. So it will be available to all Kajabi members from January is what is in all of their promo materials. So I'm super psyched about that. So we have access to it now to kind of figure it all out, figure out how it all works, kind of troubleshoot it, give feedback to Kajabi before it's rolled out to everyone in January. So it just counts as one of your preferences products. So for depending on what subscription you're on, if you're on a basic subscription you have three products. So a community group like this will be one of those products. So it could affect your subscription depending on what you need to be there. Melinda Cruz here says hello. Mel, will you still keep your Facebook group or is it just a page to promote heb? Ideally, if all goes to plan, I will get off Facebook groups. This would be a beautiful alternative to having the Facebook group and I think it has everything and more than what a Facebook group does have. So my plan is to get off that. But we'll see how we go. Again, it's only as good as the uptake for community. So if I can't get all of our members to engage on it, then we will keep our Facebook groups. But if I can get like the gamification and the points and the badges and all of that sort of thing, they're the thing that I think looks really, really cool and I think that will be a whole lot more fun for people and I think it will be a more custom experience in terms of a Facebook group can sometimes be so noisy, right? Like, you've got so many different things that are relevant to some people, not relevant to some people, whereas this you can segment really well. So I'm really happy about that. Vic here has asked. Hi, Vic, can we only do challenges with people in the community or can they be opened up to build our list? So you would have separate communities. So where you've got here, if I show you where you have. That's the wrong one. Here we go. So where you've got your different circles, what you do is in your circles, you have access groups here. So I've got main group here, but you can create an additional one which is available to the public and then with your community group. This one I have available just to members, but you can also have one available to the public. So when we do like our lead magnet challenge and launch activities, what I envisage being able to do is to create a free one that people opt into that. You know, we can have that whole community group going through Kajabi so that we just use that one native thing and then when they join, they can go into the paid group. So you can make it free or you can make it paid. So it's awesome. But I've only been using it for three days, so there's still a lot that I have to learn in here as well. So, Cass, if you're on the basic plan, you will have access to community. It'll just count as one product. So if you've already got like a tiny offer and a signature offer and a membership, then you'll be maxed out. So you may have to go to the growth plan, but if you can fit it in, you can. Amy's asked here, will it work in the Kajabi app? It does, Amy, and it's gorgeous. I'll do a little Instagram reel later of what it looks like in the app so that you can see that within there as well. But yeah, it's super cool. Okay, I think that's all the questions and all done. And I just wanted to show you a quick little demo so you could see what was coming. I hope you enjoy. I can't wait to see you inside the community. Thanks, everyone. Bye. It.
