A speaker argues that building a business should prioritize freedom over pure profit. The focus shifts to owning your time, doing work that matters, and achieving life balance instead of chasing money alone.
So I know we talk a lot about building a six or seven figure business, and yes, money matters, but for most women I work with, that's actually not the real goal. The real goal is freedom. Freedom to choose how you spend your days. Freedom to say no to what doesn't serve you. Freedom to build something meaningful without burning out or missing your life in the process. For me, that means working an average of 30 hours a week, being there for my kids, traveling when I want to, to the amazing places around the globe, adventures with friends, being able to support people and causes I care about, building a business that supports my whole life, not just my bank account. And the beautiful thing is, when we build with freedom in mind, the money tends to follow because we're doing it from a place of alignment, purpose and intention. Success isn't just about income. It's about ownership of your time, your choices, your future. So if you're building your business right now, don't just aim for more, aim for freedom, whatever that looks like for you, and then you'll get it.
