This is a YouTube video titled "Me watching my own webinar like its a netflix series" containing a personal reflection recorded in July 2025. The speaker discusses the discomfort and growth that comes from watching oneself on video, emphasizing the value of self-review for improvement. The content is a monologue without multiple speakers or mention of Tina Tower.
Watching yourself back on video. It's up there with hearing your voice on voicemail. Mildly painful, but unfortunately wildly necessary. I watched a replay of one of my webinars recently and I'll be honest, it was rough. I cringed at how many times I said like I judged my outfit. I picked apart the lighting. I thought, why am I always waving my hands so much? Do I always do that? And this is the thing. Even when you know your content is good, watching yourself back can be confronting. But it's also where the growth lives because you get to see what's landing, what needs tweaking, what's actually working. It is extremely uncomfortable, yes, but it's also one of the best ways to improve how you show up. So next time you run a webinar or film a video, watch it back. Be nice to yourself. It's not to critique every little thing, but to learn you are better than you think. I promise.
