Hi, this is Brian. Welcome back to Heroic Wisdom Daily. Today's book an Iron Will by Orison Sweatt Martin. A classic on the power of focus determination to shape your life, overcome adversity and forge unstoppable confidence. Orison Sweatt Martin is one of my all time favorite writers. He was writing Created Success magazine at the time that Teddy Roosevelt was president. Again, check out the notes. We've got a collection of notes by Martin. Phenomenal stuff. Here's your one minute summary. Will is your engine. Talent matters, but the ability to persist through difficulty defines greatness. Resolve creates results. The moment you fully commit with no backup plan, you unlock extraordinary inner strength. Mental toughness is built like muscle. Will grow stronger the more you challenge and train it. Self doubt is the enemy. Believe in your purpose and back it up with daily action. Doubt weakens, action fortifies, concentration sharpens will. Scattered energy is wasted energy. Focus everything you have on what matters most. You don't need perfect conditions, just an iron will. So what can you commit to with full strength? Today I have reread this note as many as, I don't know, a few dozen times. It is phenomenal. I hope you enjoy it. Here is to forging your iron will.
