Hi, this is Brian. Welcome back to Heroic Wisdom Daily. Today's book Breathe by Dr. Belissa Vranich. A practical guide to rewiring your breathing habits to boost physical energy, mental clarity and emotional resilience. Check out the notes on this great book. We've got a series on breathing and of course We've got breathing 101 training. My breath is one of the most transformative things I've ever done. Here's your one minute summary. Most adults bre breathe wrong. Stress, poor posture and habits lead to shallow, inefficient breathing that drains energy. Breathing is a skill. Proper breathing, low, slow and through the nose can be relearned and retrained. Your diaphragm is your power source. Breathing deeply from your diaphragm oxygenates your body and calms your nervous system. Poor breathing fuels anxiety and fatigue. Shallow chest driven breaths activate fight or flight responses unnecessarily. So train your breath daily. Simple exercises, just a few minutes a day can reprogram your system for strength, calm and vitality. Your breath is your secret weapon. How will you use it more intentionally? Today, again, check out breathing 101 and all the notes we have on breathing for more. I have trained my breath every single day for about a decade at this point since I read Patrick McGowan's the Oxygen Advantage. It's a big deal. Hope you enjoy the notes and the class.
