Hi, this is Brian. Welcome back to another heroic one. Not too long ago, I went on a top secret mission to Europe to work with some of the world's most elite athletes. And I came back from that trip fired up. There's something about being around truly elite performers and seeing just how committed they are to excellence that always makes me want to take up my game to the next, next, next level. So when I got back from that trip, I went deep. I literally didn't turn my primary phone on for a month other than using it to check my aura scores, creating what Peter Drucker would call a large quantum of time to get ahead on content while mastering some next level ideas. Now, during that micro sabbatical, I focused on a couple different domains I wanted to master so that I can help you and all the other elite performers we train go to their next best level of performance. Those two domains, peak performance, mental toughness and energy, nutrition and longevity. Now, in our next few plus ones, I want to chat about one of the first books on peak performance I read during that micro sabbatical called Changing youg Story. But first, I want to make it really, really, really clear that when I'm focused on sharing wisdom from and about elite performers in sports and or the military, I'm not sharing that wisdom, thinking it's only for other elite performers who happen to be in sports or military world. I'm sharing it for you. And to be clear, I don't care who you are or what you do. From my vantage point, you are an elite performer, period. That's not even remotely negotiable for me. And I mean it when I say, in the faces of men and women, I see heroes. Which is why I often get a little annoyed when we get feedback telling me that I talk about elite performers so much and that some people don't see themselves in their stories. First of all, we're heroic, not mediocre. And I repeat playfully, I'm sharing that wisdom from elite performers and about elite performance for you one more time. To be clear, I don't care who you are and or what you do. From my vantage point, all caps, bold, huge font, you are an elite performer, period. Paulo Coelho has a great line in one of his books called Confessions of a Pilgrim. Check out our notes on his work tells us, and I quote, I learned the most important lesson of my life. That the extraordinary is not the birthright of a chosen and privileged few. But of all people, even the humblest, that is my one certainty. We are all the manifestation of the divinity of God. And that's today's plus one. I repeat, the extraordinary is not the birthright of a chosen and privileged few. But of all people, even the humblest, that is my one certainty. We are all the manifestation of the divinity of God. So let's go out and live like we are the manifestations of the divinity of God. All day, every day, especially today.
