Live coaching-session transcript from the Optimize Coach program featuring Cynthia Occelli. The excerpt frames growth and transformation as inherently messy and often painful — likening it to a seed that must 'come completely undone' — and emphasizes acceptance, grounding, surrender to present reality, and avoiding comparison as keys to persevere through change.
The content you're about to hear was captured during a live coaching session in the Optimize Coach program. Multiple times every month. Okay?
Okay. For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn't understand growth, it would look like complete destruction. Yeah, let's talk about that.
That's everything. You know, there's a lot of self help out there that tries to say that everything can be done in a happy, positive, good feeling way. And I think that's very aspirational and if it were true, I would be all over it. I would love, love, love that. But the reality is growth is messy and painful. Creation is messy. All things come into life through chaos and destruction, galaxies, seeds, babies, everything. All things come into through this sort of violent, chaotic experience that if you didn't understand what was happening, you would feel like this is my end. And knowing that helps manage the expectation, helps you navigate and not give up. Knowing that, that feeling that I'm actually undone here and I don't think I'm going to make it. If you have the sense that even though I can't see because I'm caught in this forest, others have told me and there's evidence out there everywhere that I'm on path and this is part of the process. If I just take the next step, if I just persevere, if I just answer, and I love this, I think this question is in the optimized what do I want now? What do I need now? Just right now, what do I need right now? And so when you say that you are at a point that you feel like you've learned and you don't want to learn anymore, what comes to me is we are always in transition and change, we're always growing and what's true is true in the moment that it is true for us. So accept that because you will get all that's coming out of that and then the next level of evolution will come and there'll be more to learn. But trying to be on the other side of the river, I'm on this side, but maybe I should be over there. Just be where you are, Just be on this side because that's where your power is over there. You'll be there when you're there, right? So it's sort of like allowing. And that again, is that acceptance and surrender to our own state place reality not in comparison. And I know that's your trigger word right there, not in comparison to anyone else, not even concerned with anyone else really getting your own inner pulse. And there's so much comfort and grounding and security there. Beneath that grounding and security is so much power. Because when we are ungrounded and insecure, that drains us. When we are centered and safe, where we are stable, where we are accepting of where we are and moving in our own self governed, self determined direction, we are extraordinary in our capacity for massive transformation.
We hope you enjoyed that. Part of a live coaching session from the Optimize Coach program. For more info, head to Optimize Me Coach.
