Happy Father's Day!!

Brian Johnson uses the Heroic app to track daily virtue targets like love and responsiveness to his wife Alexandra and kids Emerson and Eleanor. A pilot study of about a thousand members showed the app helps raise what Johnson calls your "soul force" through metrics like sleep score and daily targets.

Heroic dads. What's up? This is Bry. Happy Father's Day. Just wanted to send you a quick video. I'm going to do a series of videos like this heroic app. How I am using it. I'm going to encourage you to consider using it as we all get our soul force score up. Starts at 80 and then it goes up to 90 to 100 to 101 over a span of 21 days. I'm fiercely committed to helping you get your soul Force to, which is your heroic superpower, up to 101. But for now, I am committed to living with not just wisdom and self mastery and courage and hope and gratitude and curiosity and zest, but with love. Boom. Today, showing up with presence, being connected to my kids, appreciating them, my wife Alexandra, etc. Energy, work and love. Science says, or at least is starting to show that when we hit three virtuous targets a day on the heroic app, we are 40% more energized, 20% more productive, and 15% more connected. I'm going to share more about that and the pilot study we did with a thousand heroic members in next week's weekly. For now, let's focus on the love side of things. For me, it's a joyful soulmate. Sometimes it's a dad of the year, heroic dad, et cetera. But these are the virtues. I'm joyful, I'm grateful, I'm unruffled, that I embody when I'm showing up as that best version of myself and my love. These are the targets that I'm hitting. I'm going to walk you through all of them. But for today, I'm going to focus on the micro moments of awesome. For me, it's with my wife Alexandra. Just had another one. I'll target swipe that. My son Emerson, my daughter Eleanor. And then I want to respond to bids. This is actually the thing I'm most excited about in the entire app. Seriously, the one thing I'm most excited about in relationships, great marriages. John Gottman tells us. Check out the notes 7 principles for making marriage work. That responding to bids from your spouse is one of the most important things you can do. Hi, honey. Hey, can you do this? But I extended in the app to kids, right? So what about when your kids give you a bid? Hey, daddy, look at this. Or whatever. We want to respond to those bids not once in a while, but consistently. We want to rewire our brain. So we're thinking about. Oh, wait, hey, that was a bid. Our kids. What do we tell us that now? Hey, that was a bid, Daddy. Thanks. Let me make sure I hit that target. I am already. I'm hitting 101 targets a day. I'm 52 targets deep today. Which is part of the reason why. Feeling pretty refreshed, Aura. 9,196 sleep score was insane last night. 96 efficiency. Etc. Etc. Anyway, happy Father's Day. I appreciate all you fathers and your support. And I am honored to be part of your life and fiercely committed to helping us all show up as the men we're capable of being. Not just in our energy, but in our work and our love. Day one. Let's go.
