Brian Johnson describes a four-step practice for celebrating others: pick someone you admire, recall something awesome they did, celebrate it mentally or by message, and reflect on what it shows you about yourself. Celebrating others reveals what you're capable of.

Hi, this is Brian. Welcome back to another Heroic Plus One. Now, I wrote that last Plus One on celebratory chest love on my Batphone on the front porch of our house. Emerson was sitting next to me. Tiny Paws, our tiny Chihuahua wiener dog mix who rescued us, was sitting on his lap and resting on my shoulder. Moments before I paused to write that Plus One, I told him how much I appreciated his appreciation Of his buddy. Then I told him that his friend, who had a great tournament and got a ton of rating points, showed him what's possible. Then I told him that one of the things that's awesome about seeing friends or anyone do something awesome is the fact that their awesomeness shows us what we are capable of. And that's today's plus one. If you feel so inspired, think of one person you admire. Then Think of one thing they've done recently that was awesome. Then celebrate them in your head and/or via a text or call if you're feeling it. Then think about how that awesome thing they did is showing you what you can do. Then take a deep breath, smile, and go make today awesome. And yes, I just set the record for the highest use of awesome in any +1 ever. Awesome. Awesome.
