“I’ve done a lot on my own—but Heroic gave me a community to grow with.” | Stephanie Clerge

This is a first-person testimonial from Stephanie Clerge describing her experience with the Heroic community and programs. She explains discovering Heroic in June 2023, joining coaching and instructor programs, participating in Activation Weekend and a Spartan race, losing 25 pounds following the protocol, and valuing the community, shared goals, and ethos of strength, courage, and love.

So I am a trainer. This is kind of what I do for a living. I help people to understand their strengths. But really what was impressive to me about Heroic was the opportunity to work with, you know, people everyday, people who just wanted to be a better version of themselves. And that was really inspiring to me. The caliber of the trainers, the way that the workshop was pieced together. I'm just so excited to get out there and to help other people to discover how they can be heroic. My name is Stephanie Clerje, and I have been following Heroic since about last June. So June of 2023, I saw a video with Brian talking about how he wants to change the world and, you know, how he's using kind of the Heroic journey to do that. And I was just really touched by the fact that we all go through a heroic journey and that we can all be heroes. And so what I really started to do, I. I was kind of all in from about, I think, like, two weeks from finding out about Heroic, I decided to sign up for the Coach program and then the lifetime coach program, and then became an investor and then just did Heroic workshop instructor training. Because I just believe that, you know, with everything going on in the world, we need more people who are flourishing. I started really paying attention to my protocol, and I ended up losing £25. In fact, when I came here for the event, I brought a belt and I put it on, and I realized the holes were already. I was already out of poles. What's amazing about Heroic is really the community. Community is such an important part of this. I, you know, consider myself to be a pretty successful person. I graduated from Stanford with an engineering degree. I have an mba. I have a coaching certification. I've been very successful. But a lot of that I feel like I've done alone. A community of people who are all trying to actualize, become the best version of themselves. We really show up for each other. And so that part of it is amazing. The other thing about Activation Weekend that I thought was really cool was they asked you, what is your goal in coming here? And do you mind if we partner you up with another person? And so we had so many opportunities to talk to other heroes who had, you know, different goals in their energy, work, and love. Uh, for me, I really have a goal to spend less time with work and more time with my family, specifically, you know, more time with my husband and my kids. So being around a community of people who have similar goals is really helping me with that. So I had no intention when I first started of doing a Spartan race and it was an amazing experience. Such a great metaphor for life with the obstacles. But more than a metaphor, it was hard work. But doing it with other people, I mean people that are half my size let me put their foot not just on their knee but on their shoulders. And doing it with another group of heroes is absolutely amazing. It was so inspiring. Not just what I was able to do but watching what other people were able to do as well. What sets heroic apart from other training programs is that it's not about us. I've been in, you know, kind of the self help industry forever. I But what is amazing about heroic is it isn't about ourselves. It's about having strength and courage for two. It's about love and you really feel that as a part of the heroic community. You feel that every time you listen to the content and that's what I really think is different.
