Life isn't all fun. And when we can embrace the fact that sometimes you won't feel like doing the things that are best for you and you do them anyway and somehow you can make that a gift and not a chore, then paradoxically it does become more fun. But it's the amateur that thinks that it should always be fun so the professional realizes that they're going to do what needs to get done whether they feel like it or not. What is feeling like it have to do with it? You decided you're going to do it. It's an act of service, an act of your commitment to your creator, however you define it. To do the thing, especially when you don't feel like it. And if you can muster fun in that, perfect. If you can't, perfect. But show up. Sometimes we're going to feel like it, sometimes we're not. But we're looking to create a good life, not to have a good mood per se.
