Hi, this is Brian. Welcome back to another heroic wisdom Daily. Today's wisdom is from Loving what Is by Byron Katie. Check out the notes. Phenomenal book. Byron Katie teaches us and I quote when you argue with reality you lose but only 100% of the time. One of my all time favorite quotes, when you argue with reality you lose but only 100% of the time. Now her process called the work helps us challenge limiting beliefs in align with what's true. We want to stop arguing with reality. Here's how to practice the work today. Again, check out the notes for a deeper dive. Number one, identify a stressful thought. She teaches us write down what you're believing that's causing stress. Bring one specific thought to mind. Then number two, you want to question the the thought. Ask yourself is it true? Can I absolutely know that what I just wrote down is true? And who would I be without this thought? Then the third step is turn the thought around. Find examples of how the opposite is as true or truer. Explore a new liberating perspective. Again, check out the notes for a deeper dive. Really powerful practice for now. What's one thought you can question today to create more peace in your life?
