The worse I feel, the more committed I am. What do I need to do then? We want to build the ability to notice. And that comes through that flipping the switch. So this is where meditation comes in. This is where practicing, putting our mind where we want becomes really important. And then when we do that, we're able to notice that we're no longer functioning as our best self. We want to 1, 2, 3 at what's working, what needs work, what will I do differently? And see how quickly you can notice when you're off. I'm seeing the fear. I'm feeling the doubt. Become more aware of that. Quit trying to make it go away and let that be a cue to practice your philosophy. And rather than saying, oh, my God, I hate myself because I hate myself right now, let's just say, oh, my God, I hate myself right now. Awesome demon. Not going to spiral into vicious behavior. You just gave me an opportunity to practice my philosophy. And that's not a sign something's wrong with me. It's a sign that something's right with me, that I'm trying. You're going to feel more stress and more pressure than you've ever felt you should. That's great. That's not a sign you're messing up. That's a sign you're doing something that matters.
