Hey Hero, if you're enjoying these daily plus ones, make sure you head to Heroic us to check out all of the other goodness we have to help you activate your best every day. And now, today's plus one. Hi, this is Brian. Welcome back to another Heroic plus one. In our last few plus ones we talked about success. We had fun taking a quick look at some ancient wisdom and modern science on the subject. Then we threw in some spirituality to make sure we rounded out the discussion. Now, in my meditation this morning, I was curious, what other notes do we have featuring ideas on how to make our lives a success? So after opening up my eyes, I opened up the Heroic app and clicked on the little search icon in the upper right hand corner. Check it out. Enter your favorite keyword. Then I entered success and I found 178 ones and 449 philosopher's notes that reference success. Awesome. Or should I say success? Here are some of my favorite notes on the subject. You may enjoy True Success by Tom Morris. All these are linked the Success Principles by Jack Canfield, the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra, How Successful People Think by John Maxwell, the Essence of Success by Earl Nightingale, the Law of Success by Yogananda, Creative Mind and Success by Ernest Holmes, the Common Denominator of Success by Albert Ian Gray and the Success System that Never Fails by W. Clement Stone. I had just exploded imagining all the wisdom in all those notes. I'm excited to personally reread all those notes and share some of my favorite ideas in future plus ones. For now, I've got to say that I'm very happy to see that True Success by Tom Morris is the very first search result. Why? Because Tom, with his PhDs from Yale in Philosophy and Religion, nails it. He tells us, and I quote, the kind of success I am most interested in is the sort available to every human being breathing, thinking and doing things on this earth. It does not require wealth, fame, power, or high social status. It needs not involve aspiring to any of these things. But it does require making the most of what we are for the benefit of others as well as ourselves. It means using your talents and following your heart. It involves being true to yourself and being good to others. Amen. That's today's plus one. Here's to your true success, hero. Let's close the gap between who we're capable of being and who we're actually being while we do our best to make a difference by giving our friends and families and communities all we've got got today. We hope you enjoyed today's heroic plus one.
