He was hit head-on by a drunk driver when he was 20 years old. He was dead at the scene for 6 minutes, and he came back. He was in a coma for 6 days. He woke up. He was told, "You have permanent brain damage. We don't know if you're gonna be able to walk again." He took 100% responsibility and said, "Look, I'm gonna come back from this. I'm gonna be stronger than ever." And that's exactly what he did. And he tells us we need to take life head-on. We need to take total responsibility for our lives. If we take responsibility for everything, then we have the opportunity to do anything. If anyone else has done something that we admire, we have the opportunity opportunity to do that with some obvious restrictions, but we want to be inspired by what's possible. Move toward life with power and vigor and enthusiasm rather than cower back into helplessness, etc.
