TODAY'S the Day!: Make It A Masterpiece (Areté +1 #189)

If we want to make our lives a masterpiece, we need to make today a masterpiece. Now, my intention with this objective is twofold. First, I want you to really get the fact that today is in fact the day to give us all you've got. Second, I want to help you get really good at making today awesome. Before we get to work, here's a quick little thought exercise to make the point. In die Empty Todd, Henry tells us to imagine that from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep, we have a reporter following us around, taking notes on every little thing we do. After tracking our behavior for the day, the reporter goes off and and writes a report describing what we did, when, how, etc. And that little report they create will serve as the summary of our entire lives.
