Brian Johnson's short self-shot YouTube video (dated November 29) gives a casual tour of his recently moved-into villa in Ubud, Bali. He narrates while walking the viewer through the front garden and organic patch (cucumbers, eggplant, okra, limes, tomatoes), greets household staff (Katut) and a guard dog (Rooney), and shows living spaces used for yoga, sleeping, and an outdoor office. He points out four statues (Shiva, Saraswati, Ganesha, Buddha/Lakshmi mentioned) and remarks the house is open-air with views of rice paddies; the sun rises to the east of the bedroom.

Alright. It is Saturday, November 29, here in Ubud, Bali. Squinting because the sun is bright today. It's 11:14 in the morning and I just got off the phone with David Pearson who wanted to see more of my place. And I don't have a camera. I lost that one. Starting to buy one. But I'll give you a quick tour of my place here. I'm absolutely in love with it. Just moved in two weeks ago. And this is the Ubud villa. Walk you through the front door into the little garden. See how I can navigate this. That's Rooney barking, the guard dog. All right, bear with me here. How does that look? I think we can see. All right. We're cruising down. Rooney has two lame back legs. But we love her, especially because of that sweetest little thing. All right, over here to our right, we have the organic garden. Cucumbers, eggplant, okra, limes, tomatoes, anything else I want to plant. I haven't gotten too active in that quite yet. There's Rooney. Hi, Rooney. Can we see Rooney? Where are you? Rooney, Come here. Come here. Come here, little Rooney. We will get Rooney later. All right. We have some beautiful plants, trees, etcetera Coming up to my house. This is actually all my house. But there's a security guy and his family who live up front. That's how they often do it in Bali. Super cool. Super sweet family. Can we see this? Let's see. There's Ganesha. So I have my friendly protector guarding the entrance to the place. We're cruising in. There's Katut. Hi, Katut. Wanna wave and say hi? Cool. This is Katut. Katut is an amazing guy. Keeps everything clean. I'm gonna share with my friends. He spoils me with. Can I get the water? Little flowers in the water thing. We'll start with my office. No, we'll start with the bedroom. So cruise up. This is where I do yoga every morning. So right down there. Pretty cool. Put the mat down right there. Gotta love it. And then the sun rises. This is east, pointing right here. So the sun rises literally right up here, which is amazing. So we've got. You see that? Rice paddies jungle all the way up, which is pretty sweet. And then all the way down, which is equally sweet. What do we got? Yes, we have a passing the bedroom. We have an office that actually don't uses the office with all the books that I'm currently working on for the Philosopher's Notes. We have the bedroom. It's pretty sweet. Let me slow down. Bedroom. Very simple. And the view from the bedroom is pretty cool. Yeah, I like waking up to that. Doors are open every night. Nice and relaxed. We've got Buddha up there. I had that statue. Oops. Made here, which is pretty cool. All right, closet, bathroom, bathroom. Everything's open air here, which is pretty cool. So I had those four statues made as well. I thought I was going to have them made and then shipped home. And then when I decided to stay here longer, had them put up, and this was the best place to put them. So on the far left, we have Shiva, and then we have Saraswati, and then we have Ganesha and another Buddha. It's pretty cool. And, Dave, I might have gotten you a gift. One of those is yours. All right, what else? Yes, we'll see. The office now. So I have an outdoor office, which is particularly cool at night when fireflies fly by and during rainstorms. Let me see. This is where I sit. So I usually have my computer right there. I sit here and I look at that. Pretty cool. I think that came through. What else? I will show you. This is Sarasvati again. So I had this one made. Can I get them in? Is that in? I can't even see. I think that she's in there. Sarasvati is the goddess of knowledge. And this is Lakshmi. Can you see Lakshmi? Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth. So Deepak Chopra tells a great story that if you want wealth, you need to be in love with two goddesses, knowledge and wealth. So Saraswati and Lakshmi. But you have to love one more than the other. You've got to be more in love with Sarasvati and chase her and pursue her. And if you do that, then Lakshmi will chase after you. So that's. I have Sarasvati in my direct line of sight. And then Lakshmi kind of off to the side. There we go. I have a kitchen, too. It's back there. Not that interesting. This is getting kind of long, so I'm going to cut it off. But that is the first tour. How fun. Hope you enjoyed and trusted and great. And I will send more soon. Later. Bye. Ciao. When I find how to turn this off, then we'll be done. I can't see in the sun.
