A great life isn't necessarily one in which we're shielded from challenges and stress. Obviously, the same book I read on leadership by this admiral. He started it with a great juxtaposition of his dad, who never praised him. Like, twice in his life, he praised him. He was a Marine. Mr. Disciplinarian, set in extraordinary high standards. Not the most, quote, loving guy on the planet. And then his mom was like the loving, encouraging, you light me up and this and that and that. And he celebrated the juxtaposition of the two. And then it was a really beautiful thing that he had both. And I can feel you bringing that to your grandchild and to all of your kids and your grandkids, and that's your role.
