Hi, this is Brian. Welcome back to another heroic plus one. In our last plus one we talked about how Team Johnson is using some little family health challenges as fuel for going to the next next next level. We target swipe to appreciate someone as we beam some love to someone who has served our loved ones in times of need. I also mentioned the fact that we got a home neurofeedback unit. And I mentioned the fact that as part of the daily neurofeedback training, I needed to watch something. I decided to watch a bunch of inspiring sports documentaries and the first documentary I watched was called Bill Russell Legend. It was awesome. In our notes on overachievement, we talked about him and the fact that he is the only player ever to win an NCAA championship, an Olympic gold medal and an NBA championship in the same year. We also talked about the fact that the great Bill Russell threw up before basically every game he played. But it was fun to hear legendary Celtics coach Red Auerbach talk about a story in which before one game, Russell didn't throw up. And that made Red so nervous that he sent his whole team back to the locker room and demanded that Russell throw up. Then once he'd done his job, the team took the court and they dominated. Now, one of the other things I really enjoyed about that documentary was the fact that Russell, who would become one of the all time greats, almost quit in his first season. He didn't think he had what it took to play at the highest levels. And you know who talked him out of quitting? His wife. And nearly the same exact thing happened with Nolan Ryan. He started his career with the Mets and he was really inconsistent. He didn't think he had what it took to make it in the big leagues. And you know who talked him out of quitting? His wife. And that is today's plus one. Who has supported you and in your heroic quest. Think of them right now. Seriously, think of one person. Appreciate them. Bonus points if you send them a text. Now I'm going to go ahead and target Swipe. Appreciate someone as I think of my wife and the fact that she has always been my biggest supporter. Bless you babes. And as I was writing, I said I'm going to target Swipe send wifey a love note as I sent her a quick text. Me working on a plus one celebrating you and your 15 plus years of heroic support. Love you babes. Heroic quests are much more fun with friends. Let's make sure we take the time to celebrate those who have supported us. And let's be the ones supporting our loved ones on their heroic quest. Day one all in again with humility, gratitude and love. Let's go, hero. Target swipe. Target swipe. Target swipe.
