Five AI agent frameworks for building workflows: Parent-Agent delegates to specialists, Prompt Chaining pipes outputs to inputs, Routing classifies data into separate paths, Parallelization splits work across agents then merges results, and Evaluator-Optimizer creates a feedback loop where an evaluator judges output quality and an optimizer refines it until approved.

Here are 5 AI agent frameworks that you can start building with today. First, we have the parent-agent framework. This is where we have a main agent up top that we're able to send off tasks to different agents that are its child agents. In this case, the Ultimate Assistant has an agent called an email agent, which looks like this, and the email agent has tools that it's able to use to take action. The next framework is called prompt chaining. We want to use this when something's linear and we have the output from one agent going directly in as the input to the next agent, and so on and so forth. Then we have routing, where we have one agent up front who gets to decide which path to send the data down based on how it's classified. As you can see, there's different routes for high priority, customer support, promotion, or finance. Then we have parallelization where we have data being sent different ways. In this case, we have 3 different agents that each focus on something different. Then at the end, it's going to merge the outputs together and then pass it into one final agent who can create a comprehensive overview of everything that it was fed. And finally, my favorite framework, we have the evaluator optimizer framework where we have one agent feeding in data to an evaluator agent. The agent decides if it's good or not. If it's not good, it gets sent to an optimizer agent who is going to optimize the incoming text And this is going to be an endless loop until the evaluator agent decides, okay, this text is good to go.
