Bitcoin vs USD Exchange predictions - short version

Short YouTube clip compiling multiple speakers' end-of-year Bitcoin-vs-USD price predictions. Speakers give widely varying numeric estimates (examples include $200–$10,000, many around $500–$4,000) and several comment on the role of regulation and mainstream adoption in driving trust and price. The piece is speculative and informal rather than analytical.

How about $1300? It will be around 500. We'll probably see it somewhere close to roughly 5000 by the end of the year. Oh is I think 1160, maybe 2, 3000, 10,000 years old. You know, anything's possible. I think bitcoin has a lot of pot and based on the increase of knowledge of the public, I would expect bitcoin to be not less than $2,000. I have no idea. Nobody wants to answer. Okay, well then I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give you venture guess I'm gonna say $2,000. Over US$5 million. I wish I had a crystal ball. I would be able to predict my investment. By the end of this year. There might be more clarity in terms of regulation, solid companies coming into a space. And when that happens, people are going to start trusting bitcoin more and relying on it more than they have given the past few months events. So I think it's going to go above 500 in a couple of months. That's my guess. I think It'll be over 800. That's a tough question, but I'm very optimistic. So I think like who is? Well, it's very easy to predict the bitcoin price. I would guess it's a fool's errand. At the end of the year, I think 20 to $400 bitcoin versus the dollar. I would say bimodal, maybe down to 200, but possibly up to eight or nine. Well, normally I don't do estimates, but I guess it' up maybe again $2,000 at the end of the year, let's say 4,000, probably somewhere between 1 and $5,000. So a fairly big spread, hopefully closer to 5,000 than 1,000. But I think that we'll see bitcoin continue to rally. Well, I used to say $10,000. Now I'd probably say at least a few thousand dollars, like $4,000. But it's not an interesting question. The end of this year we might see spurt at the end of the year going to a coup dollars if we're lucky. So let's say $2,000. Last year they asked me the same question at the San Jose conference and I predicted that bitcoin would reach a thousand by the end of that year. And it gets pretty close. So I don't want to ruin my good record by making the wrong prediction. I would say right around $500 would be my guesstimate. $800 maybe back over a thousand dollars. End of this year I think it's going around 6, 700, maybe as far as 8. But I don't think it will be a bulkhead. Difficult question to answer. Obviously I'd like to see it higher. I think that probably not the answer that you want but I think to focus on the price of bitcoin is probably not the most important thing. More important thing is to focus on the technology and seeing the adoption of the technology across both currencies and non currency applications. But I would think by the end of this year and I'll make a prediction that the price is probably two or three times higher than now as we're starting to see some of the more mainstream adoption applications starting to get launched specifically like what Circle announced yesterday. So it will be more easier for the average person to get involved in these bitcoin. You know I certainly think it will be over $1,000 US and it could certainly be as high as 2,500. I think that's sort of the range. I believe there's some large financial players coming involved this year. We're certainly speaking to many of them. If they come involved they need the coin price to be around 2,000 to $3,000 for them to enough cash liquidity in the bitcoin space. So I expect somewhere between 2 and $3,000. To be honest I would be really cautious about doing this kind of forecast. But let's hope 1000 at least more that's what we're aiming at Being not too optimistic and I would say about 1500amillion dollars a coin. Be sure to follow Cointele.
