Dr. Violet Howard built Klaus, a Claude-based chatbot that created a YouTube analytics dashboard overnight. The dashboard tracks views, subscribers, and watch time across 7-, 30-, and 90-day periods, flags videos performing twice the channel average, and analyzes comments for trending topics and pain points. She gave Klaus a spec list before bed and had a finished MVP by morning.
Here's how I turned ClaudeBot into the ultimate personal assistant. So this is my dashboard that my ultimate assistant, Klaus, built for me. In here, I can see all the tasks that he's working on, what's in the backlog, and I can even see up here when he's actually working or when he's not. So last night before I go to bed, I basically say, hey, all night when I'm sleeping, I want you to build me a YouTube dashboard. And so we put together a spec list. He threw all of his tasks in the to-do section, as you can see. And then before I went to bed, he said, okay, I'm gonna work through all of these different things on my heartbeats overnight, and so you'll wake up and you'll have this ready to look at. So of course I go to bed, I wake up feeling like a kid on Christmas, and then I check in on the morning and he says the YouTube dashboard MVP is done. And so I come into the dashboard this morning and I can see that everything has now been moved over here to done. So I asked Klaus to give me the URL and this is what we got. We've got this YouTube dashboard, we can see a 7-day toggle, we can see a 30-day toggle, and we can look through 90 days and see like views, subscribers, watch time, top performing videos. We've got videos, I can search through them and I can find analytics, comments intelligence, so I can look at my hot topics topics, common questions, pain points. Klaus also built a competitor tracking tab where I can look at breakout videos, which are any videos that are performing above 2 times the channel average. Popping back into my Klaus dashboard, if I now go to the log, I can see everything that he does. Last night I went to bed at like midnight, so right here is where I started this. And then after we kicked off all the spec docs and I added all of these tasks to his backlog, look what he did. 12:31 did something, 12:48, 1:15, 1:42, 2:08, 2:34, like all night up until like 7. So I mean, if that doesn't at least get you a little bit excited, then I don't know what will. So today I'm going to be going over this dashboard, how I built it, how you can create your own version of Klaus. So pretty much everything that I've done with my Claude bot here.
