We wanted it to be spacious inside. We wanted to have room for a child in addition to an adult. We also wanted it to have no chain. It should be chainless to minimize maintenance because high-quality bikes really need a lot of maintenance to keep them at the top-performing vehicle. So reducing the chain, the cassette, And derailleur, all that stuff is gone. We have a pedal-by-wire system, or a series hybrid, where you pedal on a generator and the energy is transferred via cables to 2 motors in the rear, one on each rear wheel.
