Started working in my early years. I graduated, went to work for Xerox and developed the first touch graphics for the first touchscreen interface. I didn't enjoy corporate life. It wasn't for me. So I left and said, I'll just kind of strike it out on my own. And my passion for design was very, very strong, and I knew I had something to contribute working with all these psychologists. Design is really a tool to affect the human psyche and benefits and the emotional state of being. That design is not a thing unto itself. It's simply a human factors tool. And so that kind of early days before human-centered was a term, it was there at Xerox and some other leading organizations. Just kind of like slowly grew the firm with a strong dedication to creating great results for people.
