I started with design. I've been doing that since I was a kid. My dad and grandfather are actually designers, so it's kind of in my blood, I guess. I've been designing products now for over 20 years. When I started, Amazon was not a place that any of the brands I worked with would even think about Amazon. I've seen over time, and the clients that I've worked with slowly have looked at, well, Amazon is actually a platform. But really, I come from a background in designing products, designing things in a way to be sustainable, reusable, really heavy on innovation. Because it's not about where you sell it, it's about it's got to sell, it's gotta be different. You have to differentiate yourself. And that's hammered into you in design school, and corporate hammers into you a lot more.
