An interior designer noticed clients had high-quality unused fabrics in their closets, so she deconstructed garments like wools and turned them into decorative pillows and cushions. Her clients bought the prototypes almost immediately, proving there's demand for unique, sustainable home accessories made from repurposed materials.

I am an interior designer. That's my background is home interiors. It's where I started to look at the incredible fabrics that weren't being worn anymore. I mean, even in my own closet. And I started to think about the different materials, the wools and all these things. And I thought these materials would lend themselves beautifully to interiors, to especially pillows. Let's deconstruct these garments and sort of put them together and reimagine them as cushions. We made a few just to sort of see what it would be like, and I ended up selling them almost immediately to clients.
