Being in the Bay Area and getting connected with EcoTimber, and they were very involved in getting FSC established, and really that was my crash course in sustainable wood utilization, community-based forestry programs all over the world, but also purchasing urban wood, which I knew nothing about prior to. I knew about deconstructed wood, but at that time urban wood referred to street trees, yard trees, storm-damaged trees, things like that, trees that were coming down. And at the time, mainly we were focused on municipalities in the Bay Area, trees that were coming down there that would typically end up in the chipper or burn pile or the landfill. And so we were capturing that, working with some small mills, and we were retailing it through our lumberyard there. And that was my introduction initially to urban wood.
