Interface makes carpet from recycled fishing nets pulled from the ocean. The company put this sustainable material into its cheapest product lines, not just premium ones, so millions of people can afford eco-friendly carpet without paying extra.

If your goal is to change the world, which at Interface it is, and that's why I work here, then if sustainable materials are only available to people with a lot of money, that's not affecting very much of the world. So, you know, some of my proudest moments are when we were able to take some of our most exciting materials from a sustainability perspective and make them available on our cheapest products. That's how you scale. Right. And people say, well, if it costs less, yeah, I do want the 100% recycled nylon made from fishing nets. Yeah. That's easy. Where it's like, show me your cheapest thing, and then you get to tell them, by the way, the cheapest thing also has the fishing nets. That's easy to sell. That's easy to scale.
